The Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database is explicitly designed and developed to be used for making well-informed upstream strategic decisions. The various information elements included in the database provide the key building blocks for exploration, acquisition, and exploitation analyses. These building blocks can be used in a broad range of upstream analyses. To facilitate these uses, Nehring Associates has developed several tools for retrieving and analyzing the information in the database. We have also worked with other industry vendors to create further tools for analysis.
